Myburgh

Myburgh het onlangs sy debuutalbum, Woestyn, met groot sukses in Kaapstad en Johannesburg bekendgestel. Sedert die album se vrystelling in Junie is plaaslike media en musiekresensente gaande oor die sielvolle album wat 4-ster resensies in beide Huisgenoot en Die Burger losgeslaan het.

Sedert die vrystelling van Woestyn het Myburgh tussen optredes onderhoude op Highveld Stereo, KFM, RSG Befonk!, Radio Helderberg en Vaal Community Radio gedoen, terwyl die titelsnit van Woestyn tans op # 3 aan’t klim is op Radio Helderberg se Afrikaanse musiektreffersparade.

Woestyn, vervaardig deur befaamde musikant en kitaarspeler Albert Frost, is ‘n “easy-listening”, volwasse kontemporêre album met oorwurm-melodiee en ‘n diepte wat ongekend op die plaaslike musiekfront is. Die album bevat 12 radiovriendelike snitte (10 Afrikaans en 2 Engels), wat wissel van rock tot ligter luistermusiek.

Die musiekvideo van Swart Piet is tans te sien op KykNET, terwyl 6 snitte van Woestyn gespeellys is op Radio Helderberg, 10 snitte gespeellys is op Radio Pretoria, en ‘n aantal snitte van die album gespeellys is op Radio Kragbron, Radio Laeveld en Radio Namakwaland.
n Aantal snitte van Woestyn kan ook tans gehoor word op RADIO SONDER GRENSE se nismarkprogramme.

Myburgh and Albert Frost will also be performing at the Cape Diamond Hotel in Gatta Patat Theatre Cafe on the 15th of October!!

Tickets are only R 80.00 per person and the show starts at 20h30!

Dinner will be served before the show at only R 125.00 per person for a two course buffet dinner - dinner starts at 18h30!

Drinks will be served before and during the show!
