The Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in partnership with FNB hosted the much-anticipated Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala Ceremony on November 5, 2011 at the Diaz Boutique Hotel in Ferndale.

There were 22 Business and Entrepreneur finalists, voted as the best in their categories by the businesses within the region at the event.
They had been narrowed down from the original 74 nominations that RCCI received.

The 22 Entrepreneurs were selected as finalists for the Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Awards at a cocktail event at Jackal Creek Gold Estate in October 2011.

Northern Joburg Media made it to the finals and were announced the overall winner in the Print Media category at the Gala Awards, receiving a Gold certificate. The dynamic Northern Joburg Media team were up against a well-known local community newspaper and a business magazine and shone all the way through.

“I am truly honoured to receive this unexpected award and recognition for the work we do. The first website MyFourways was started three years ago and it’s been just over a year since we took over another nine websites and registered the company Northern Joburg Media”, said Danielle Dooley, owner of Northern Joburg Media. “We will continue to give the same and exceed the services we provide to the community and charity organisations we support. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who nominated us as well as to RCCI and FNB”, added Danielle.

Northern Joburg Media sponsored R10 000 worth of advertising to the five Platinum winners.

Guests got the chance to learn about the amazing businesses and projects that we often don’t know exist in our own backyard. Prominent inspirational speaker Allon Raiz was the guest speaker at this event, who motivated the attendees.
